Market and Channel Intelligence Manager
Ricoh Innovations Inc. is a dynamic research and innovation subsidiary of Ricoh Company

invents new technology-based solutions to solve personal and office work flow issues
with leading edge technological solutions. Current focus areas include: secure oblivious
document security, visual document search JOIPO optical processing, live web-based mobile
appadoption testing/trials to understand the needs of mobile professionals and deep
investigation of hidden/unarticulated customer needs.
You will gather both qualitative and quantitative market information related to Ricoh's
current markets as well as promising new markets RII researches for possible new business
starts. You will also be responsible for managing RII's corporate relations with other
North American Ricoh groups and channel partners. You will bring your knowledge to bear
with small diverse matrix teams of seasoned professionals focused on moving technology-based
innovation seeds hrough RII's innovations process toward new business starts. You will support
project leaders and the RII governing team in making informed market-driven decisions about
how and when to revise, improve, stop or increase our efforts on the ideas we collective
identify and incubate.
This position requires business development and relationship management experience with
proven ccomplishments in Vertical marketing, strategic planning, program management and
leading cross-functional teams.
We are seeking an experienced market and channel intelligence professional to support our
investigations into new North American-based business solutions that fit well with Ricoh's
current worldwide network of service and support professionals as well as our developing
focus in government, healthcare, education and financial solutions.
Specific duties include, but not limited to:

-Responsibility for market and business-related research/planning for RII.s innovation teams
-Ricoh America relationship management and customer visit/event coordination
-Arranging periodic meetings with business, channel and marketing peers to validate our
directions, identify possible synergies with other Ricoh groups and secure early sponsorship
for RII activities adjacent to Ricoh's North American sales activities.
-Periodically blog about important market case studies and new business models to enhance
Ricoh's knowledge of North American activities.
-Create and maintain a calendar of North American events where RII may gain direct customer
feedback for its business ideas, and support Ricoh's worldwide reputation as a leader in
work efficiency
-Present RII.s activities to visitors and partners
-Manage our customer outreach activities and work with research directors to improve them
-Analyze market data and synthesize it to provide business intelligence project leaders can
apply to the innovation process
